I purchased this painting by Lois Gross Smiley (1925-2018) out of the studio of her estate in Wellesley

8 1/2" tall x 8 3/8" across at handle

but I do think it is quite a special thing

small enough to put in any pocket for play on the go

Signed on the bottom but I can't make it out

Super Fun Dial Tape Measure vintage barber's brush I purchased this painting byI love this so much. To pull the tape back in after stretching it out to measure, you put your fingers in the rotary and turn, like dialing an old phone, which one rather misses! I find combo of dark green case and yellow tape pretty satisfying too! Measuring tape extends 50 feet. Case measures 3 3 8" in diameter x 7 8" deep. Light rusting but looks and works great. C. 1950s 60s.
